German born, Simones' photographic passion emerged after living in South east Asia for many years. Moving to Africa, Simone further developed her passion for the people and landscapes of this most amazing continent. Still a backpacker at heart, Simone thrives on capturing those unique experiences that seemingly only Africa has to offer. Simone won multiple awards in Australia and Africa and won the 2021 and 2022 Africa in Focus Photo Competition for the “People/Cultures and Communities of Africa” category.
